Hello.
Please be sure to check out news of my poetry collection Tripping in the Dark that will be released soon by Bareback Press.
Also, I’ve added a few more short stories that have been published over the past year or so.
I promise to write more here in the near future. There’s an election coming. And as we all know the crazy train derailed months ago. On one side we have The Donald and the others who shall not be named. On the other side, we have Hillary and Bernie. And in between we have a country divided. On one side we have Trumpsters assaulting people at rallies. On the other side we have people threatening not to vote if Bernie does not win the Democratic Party nomination (which is the adult equivalent of the four-year-old kid who doesn’t get his way while playing in his friend’s yard and rather defiantly announces, “I’m taking my trucks and going home.”). And in between, at least at this writing, we have Ben Carson who apparently didn’t get the memo as well as Chris Christie who appears to have been put under a powerful spell by The Donald.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a brief broadcast of one of Jeb Bush’s rallies (before he went “teets up,” as Stuart Mackenzie in So I Married An Axe Murderer was fond of saying). At this particular rally, Jeb said at one point, and I quote, “We have to get back to the business of making the world safe.” In the words of the reclusive Thomas Pynchon, “Oh boy!” Sounds like Doublespeak to me.
In the coming days I will have more news about the release of my poetry book. And a bit of news about some upcoming work to be published in 2017. Meanwhile, check out the story links I posted on my Stories Page. And be sure to support these independent publishers who provide writers like me an opportunity to share their work with so many others.
