Things of the Earth: Day 29 at the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project

Here is my offering for Day 29 at the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project:

Things of the EarthOBfin2

It is hard to believe that twenty-nine days have passed since the July 2013 Tupelo Press 30/30 Project has begun. This month I have corresponded with the wonderful poets in my group as well as the folks at Tupelo Press. Everyone has been supportive beyond measure. For that, I thank them.

With only a couple of days left, I can see the finish line as this poetry marathon draws to an end. Along the way, I have learned a great deal; mostly, always be receptive to going outside your comfort zone where poetry is concerned. Had I not been a part of this project and exposed to the wonderful poets in my group, I doubt I would have written the poems I did for this endeavor.

Yes, the end draws near. Sounds ominous, no? But all jokes aside, Tupelo Press, a non-profit publisher, is still in need of your generosity. So please stop by , read some poems, and donate today.

Over at the 30/30 Project we are winding down our month. However, Tupelo Press, a non-profit publisher, relies on the generosity of people like you to continue providing contemporary poetry and literary fiction to discerning readers. And they still need your help.

Please visit their web site today, enjoy the poems, and donate. Remember to note the poet’s work you like in the “In Honor Of” section of the donation form. And if you provide your name and email address we can send you a personal note of thanks. Also, you might end up with a free gift. But we need your name and an email to facilitate getting those goodies in your hands. So, please donate today.

Thanks.
