Things of the Earth: Day 29 at the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project

Here is my offering for Day 29 at the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project:

Things of the EarthOBfin2

It is hard to believe that twenty-nine days have passed since the July 2013 Tupelo Press 30/30 Project has begun. This month I have corresponded with the wonderful poets in my group as well as the folks at Tupelo Press. Everyone has been supportive beyond measure. For that, I thank them.

With only a couple of days left, I can see the finish line as this poetry marathon draws to an end. Along the way, I have learned a great deal; mostly, always be receptive to going outside your comfort zone where poetry is concerned. Had I not been a part of this project and exposed to the wonderful poets in my group, I doubt I would have written the poems I did for this endeavor.

Yes, the end draws near. Sounds ominous, no? But all jokes aside, Tupelo Press, a non-profit publisher, is still in need of your generosity. So please stop by , read some poems, and donate today.

Gnostic Boundaries: Day 24 at Tupelo Press 30/30 Project

My offering for Day 24 at the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project:

Please visit the Tupelo 30/30 Project today and donate. When you do, you will help support this non-profit publisher in its continuing efforts to bring unique poetry and literary fiction to readers everywhere. Read my other poems. Read my colleagues’ poems. Explore the Tupelo Press web site. But please donate today. One of us will send you a personal note of thanks and you may end up with a free personal gift for your generosity. Be sure to mention the name of the poet whose work you admire in the “In Honor of” section of the online donation form. And be sure to include your email address. As my mother would say, it would be “a fine how-do-you-do” if we didn’t write and say thanks for your support.
